Barkawi Management Consultants increase turnover and continue internationalization

Barkawi Management Consultants achieved a turnover of 15.3 million Euros in the preceding fiscal year 2008. Compared to the previous year this represents an increase of 6 %.
Munich - The consultancy focusing on Supply Chain Management and Aftermarket Services named several reasons for this positive development: Above all the long-established customer relationships based on mutual trust, a number of long-run projects as well as the company’s international strategy contributed decisively to the achieved results.
„Particularly during the current crisis our investments in the growing markets of China and India pay off“, says Karim Barkawi. Besides the company founder and CEO announces that Barkawi intends to continue internationalization in the BRIC countries: “We will soon open an office in Russia.”
At the same time Karim Barkawi declares himself fairly optimistic for the year 2009. „It is our goal for the current year to stabilize our profit at the previous year’s level in the European markets and to grow in the emerging economies.”
