Barkawi Management Consultants report increase in turnover

Supply chain consultants focus on growth industries and international presence
Management consultant firm Barkawi reported a turnover of €16 million for the past business year – a 5 percent increase on 2008.
“In last year’s difficult market, we increasingly focused on growth markets like the energy and health sectors,” said Managing Director Karim Barkawi. “In addition, our international orientation paid off once again. In 2009, we were able to convince further clients, particularly from the US and Canada, of our consulting offering. That is why we are also opening a new office in Atlanta for the North American market. So we are not just expanding into future markets such as China, India and Russia, but also into established consulting markets,” Barkawi continued.
“With our specialization on the topics Supply Chain Management and After Sales Services, we already cover a great deal of industry areas – and we continue to develop more. The telecommunications sector remains one of our industry focal points, but at the same time we are increasing our activity in the energy sector. That also ensures more stability in times like these,” said Dr. Andreas Baader, also Managing Director at Barkawi. “The majority of our projects lead to immediate cost savings or to growth in clients’ turnover. That is why many of our clients remain loyal during challenging periods.“
For 2010, Barkawi Management Consultants has also set itself the goal of continued profitable growth.
