In a study conducted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Managementforschung (DGMF, German Institute for Management Research), Prof. Dr. Dietmar Fink asked 264 managers to rank the most prestigious consulting firms according to their consulting competence. In the field of logistics, the result was clear: Barkawi garnered 403 of 500 possible competence points. The Munich-based specialist in supply chain management and after-market services left behind every major player in the field.

“In certain specialized fields, the smaller firms have the power to outdo established market leaders,” notes Fink of his survey’s findings.
